OpenStudy (armoni13):

At a home owners association meeting, a board member can vote yes, vote no, or abstain on a motion. There are three motions on which each board member must vote. a) determine the number in the sample space b) determine the probability that a board member votes yes on exactly one of the motions. c) determine the probability that a board member votes yes on at least one motion. I was able to figure out question a and b, but i cant seem to figure out question c.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

c) is simply a complement question P(Y on at least 1) = 1 - P(no on 3)

OpenStudy (kropot72):

What was your answer for b) ?
