thomaster (thomaster):

I'd rather think stress increases physical illness

thomaster (thomaster):

You didn't get the dependent and independent variables wrong the way you wrote the hypothesis. But usually illness is caused by stress rather than stress caused by illness. But it is possible

thomaster (thomaster):

the dependent variable is dependent of the independent variable :)

thomaster (thomaster):

you can change the independent variable.

thomaster (thomaster):

that article is correct :)

thomaster (thomaster):

when you are stressed, you are more vulnerable to diseases

thomaster (thomaster):

I'd make stress the independent variable and illness the dependent variable.

thomaster (thomaster):

It increases the chance of getting a disease or could increase the symptoms

thomaster (thomaster):

and yea when you turn around the hypothesis :)

thomaster (thomaster):

but both ways are possible :)

thomaster (thomaster):

haha you're welcome :)
