You are traveling in a car at a constant speed of 112 miles/h for 1 minute, how many meters do you travel? what is your acceleration?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is this a serious question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok first of all...keyword in the statement is 'CONSTANT speed'...can you guess what acceleration should be? Hint: Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity (speed here).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your acceleration as long as it is completely straight. ....will be zero...and object changing dirrection going the same speed is still technically accelerating.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now as for the distance first you need to know how many miles you traveled...you traveled 112 mph ..for 1 minute of 1/60 of an hour .... so 1/60 of 112 is what?
