OpenStudy (jusaquikie):

The voltage across and current through a certain device are given by : v(t) = 100(1-e^(-.2t)) V i(t) = 30e^(-.2t) mA Determine the cumulative energy delivered to the device from t=0 to t=infinity. I'm not sure how to start this, am i looking for Joules? is it the intragal V*A dt from 0 to infinity?

OpenStudy (kenljw):

Instantaneous power p(t) = v(t) i(t) Integration with respect to time (t) from 0 -> infinity will give total energy absorbed or released.
