which is the best book for thermodynamics with example

Hopefully your following the normal sequence for a mechanical engineer, statics, dynamics, strength and materials, fluid mechanics and then thermal dynamics, at least this was the sequence I went l though for my BSEE in the 70's. If this is your sequence you should be able to ask any previous Professor your question.
