Slope?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = mx+c is usually know as the slope intercept form parallel lines always have equal or same slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see first find the slope of y = 2x+1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait i just put it on graph paper, is it D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=2x+1 is in the slope intercept form where m=2 and c=1 (intercept on y-axis)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so slope of the requird line must also be 2 so slope is 2 and since it passes through(0,2) means y-intercept is 2 i.e c=2 as in ur choices shown u have only one option y = 2x + 2

I just re-did it and got the same thing. Thanks :-)
