Is it a topic?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it ABOUT a topic? yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just wanna know if the apostrophe is placed correctly. And why.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

For the possessive? If the possession is by America, yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, thanks!

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Possessives are all about adding it to who or what does the owning. My refrigerator’s door is a double possessive. My says who's refrigerator and the 's says whats door.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What about s'?

OpenStudy (compassionate):

SWAG YOLO

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LAWL!

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Plural possessive. If I have two refrigerators, it is my refrigerators' doors are broken!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, can you test me?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Not sure what you mean, and I need to head to bead soon...

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

And my refrigerator example is not exactly great... furniture it exempt. Hehe. http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/621/01/

OpenStudy (accidentalaichan):

Swagger is not like paste, but an action. It is when cowboys put their thumbs in their belt loops and walk. :) Have a nice day
