If h(x)=x-5 , find a function g(x) such that g(h(x))=x. How would you start to find the function g(x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well first of all you can write down what you have separate from the problem. So you have h(x)=x-5 and g(h(x))=x. So in a way g(h(x)) is a separate function in general. So you can see it as f(x)=x so now you can think about what equation can you plug in x-5 to retrieve x by itself.
