How to convert two set of coordinates into standard form? I have: Launch area (where it starts): (1, 2) A: (-6, 5) B: (-9, -8) C: (7, -3) My following questions are: Determine the equation of the line, in standard form, that will get your spacecraft from the Launch Area to Point A. Determine the equation of the line, in point-slope form, that will get your spacecraft from Point A to Point B. Determine the equation of the line, in slope-intercept form, that will get your spacecraft from Point B to Point C. how do I convert them?

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

to get the equation of the line, you need to find the slope first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can find those real quick! Give me a second!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ivettef365 The slope for Launch to A is -3/7 The slope for A to B is 13/3 The slope for B to C is 5/16

@nincompoop What diagram are you talking about? e_e Picture a 4-coordinate graph with these plotted points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ivettef365 is question 2: 13x-y+83=0 ? I took the coordinate of point A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And C looks like y = 0.3x − 5.2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I also have -5x + 16y = -83 for number three? s: I have a "diagram" (correct term is a GRAPH) opened up in Paint. I KNOW what I'm supposed to be doing as I don't need to present a graph to you or anyone... I have the coordinates listed and that's all you need to know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I never said I know everything. I said I know what I need to DO as far as my instructions. Obviously I need help if I'm posting questions

e_e

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you please stop posting in my question; You're not helping me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amistre64 @RANE

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

are you posting it as a question because you are not confident with your answers? well one way to learn is also being able to correct mistakes, which means you need to make the mistakes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Reeeeeeeeeeally wish I could get some help on this e_e @ivettef365 Why are you going to begin helping me, stay in my question and not reply to my responses then go to someone else's work?
