Help, I need a better understanding of Linear Equations.

they relate one variable to another.

y = 2x
so if x=goat then you get y=2*goat bunnies in return
2 bunnies for one goat
4 bunnies for two goat etc.

Linear equations are any equation of the form ax+b
it is a 1st degree polynomial(since the highest power on x is one)

when you graph linear equations you get a straight line
every point on that line is a solution of the linear equation
