Solve for d: d/6 = 1/3 Solve for d. Multiply both sides of d/6 = 1/3 by 6: (6 d)/(6) = 6/3 Cancel common terms in the numerator and denominator of (6 d)/6. (6 d)/6 = 6/6×d = d: d = 6/3 Divide 6 by 3. 6/3 = (3×2)/3 = 2: Answer: | | d = 2
multiply by six d= 3*6 / 9 what is 3x6 ?

yep. and 18/ 9 =2 d=2
d=(3*6)/9 i.e d=18/9 d=2
