It's all in the wording, lol
OpenStudy (anonymous):
You multiple don't you ?
OpenStudy (dobby1):
i got it by subtracting 3 from 7 getting 4 which leaves room for one more dozen

It's 2. Definitely. 3 goes into 7 2.33 times, which rounds down to 2.

Do you get it? You just have to narrow down your options. It's obviously not 21 or 9. And it's not 3, because 3 doesn't go into 7 3 times.
OpenStudy (dobby1):
yup

if you give me one i will give micahpkay one

Just remember: 3 goes into 7 2 times with 1 left over. You can by another dozen eggs with 1 cowry shell. It all has to do with rounding up and/or down.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Sorry, *can't by another dozen.
