Factorizing by Quadratics

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x ^{2}-x-20\]

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Same as what I said on the other one: http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/5227c97ce4b06211a6809647 Except, since the final term is negative, you know that your factor pair of -20 must have opposite signs. And since you need a -x in the middle, you know that you need the larger of the factor pair to be the negative one.
