Pick values for x. Usually, the values I pick are small number to prevent the function from growing big. In this case, use the following values for x: -2, -1, 0, 1, 2. Get the corresponding values for y by solving the equation using the given values for x. Then, you will have an ordered pair that looks something like this: \[(x1, y1); (x2,y2); etc\] think of the constants as subscripts. then all you have to do is plot the point.
