Does Dehydration Synthesis and Hydrolysis only happen in Carbohydrates? And can you explain out Dehydration Synthesis and Hydrolysis to me.

It also occurs in amino acids. Dehydration synthesis is when the water molecule is condensed,removing the H2O bond. Hydrolysis is the splitting of the water molecule adding an H2O bond.

These processes commonly occur. Not just restricted to carbohydrates. dehydration is removal of water molecule. Synthesis is formation of any molecule. Hydrolysis is addition of water molecule.
