OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do you find the y-intercept(b) and write the equation of the line in y=mx+b form(slope intercept form) using the point (-8,1) and the slope is undefined?

OpenStudy (debbieg):

If the slope is undefined, then there is no "slope intercept" form. But you can still write the equation for the line. If slope is undefined, then what kind of line does that mean it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the line is vertical, therefore no y-interceptp, equation x=-8
