-3i is in the form a+bi where a = 0 b = -3 you would then plug these two values into the formula r = sqrt(a^2 + b^2) to find the value of theta, you would plot the point (0,-3) since a = 0 and b = -3, can you see what the angle theta is? |dw:1378395936629:dw|
