Equation of a line through given points? That is easy.

OpenStudy (austinl):

You have slope, \(\large{m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}}\) You have your two points, plug the numbers in to get m. Slope intercept form is \(y=mx+b\) Put \(m\) where it goes and then you plug in the \(x\) and \(y\) values from one of your sets of coordinates and then solve for \(b\).
