What is it about? Like, I'm taking English online and there's no where to read the material except from little excerpts and i don't understand it at all.

Are you in CA? Im a senior there, were reading it too. Okay, so basically its about a guy named Beowulf that went to a town because of an evil monster called Grendel, and he slayed the monster and then his mother came to get revenge, and some innocent people died, then beowulf followed the mom into the lake and fought her and found a sword that killed her and he decapitated Grendel and was the hero.
