I have to make a works cited page in MLA format and one of my texts is from my English 124 course pack. What would be the format for setting up a citation from a course pack?

That depends: are you using only a certain section of the textbook (such as a short story written by a different author than the one on the cover of the textbook), or are you using a major section of the textbook that was written by the author on the cover? Is there a single author or multiple? Or is only the edior listed?
