$$d = \sqrt{(x _{2}-x1)^{2}+(y _{2}-y _{1})^{2}}$$
In the first case you have: (x1, y1) = (2,0) and (x2, y2) = (2,6)
just replace and solve and don't forget minus sign when apply.
