Calc 2 Question: Water is pumped out of a holding tank at a rate of 5-5e^-.12tliters/min where t is in minutes since the pump is started. If the holding tank contains 1000 liters of water when the pump is started, how much water does it hold one hour later? I have set up an integral from 0 to 60 of 5-5e^-0.12t dt I factor out the 5 and get 5 times the integral from 0 to 60 of 1-e^0.12t I then integrate the 1 and end up with 5t- the integral from 0-60 of e^-.012t I don't know what I should do next? Are these the correct steps even?
