Without any trolling, can someone help me?

OpenStudy (phi):

f(x)= 6x+2 f(1) means replace x with 1 in 6x + 2 (btw, 6x means 6 times x) what number do you get ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You get 6(1) + 2 which is 6 + 2 and that is 8

OpenStudy (phi):

that means f(1)= 8 now you need g( f(1) ) which is the same as g(8) now the same idea. replace x with 8 in g's definition

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That would be 4

OpenStudy (phi):

yes (2*8+4)/5 = (16+4)/5 = 20/5 = 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, I worked it out on paper. Lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you by the way :)
