-3x+12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thomas was supposed to answer it but oh well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so evaluate the terms in lhs and rhs to obtain -3x+12+x = 15- 5x move all x terms on one side and constants to the other -3x+x+5x = 15 - 12 evaluate lhs and rhs 3x=3 divide both sides by 3 x=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3x+12+x=15-5x -3x+x+5x=15-12 3x=3 x=1
