A), a major weakness of the Articles was that the states had too much power. It became so that each state had their own currency and taxed each other during interstate trades. When agreements and contracts with other countries were signed, 13 separate agreements were sent with one from each state rather than one. It was as if the US was consisted of 13 separate territories rather than a country. All of the following choices, B, C, and D resulted because most of the power lay in state governments
