Could I please get some help! I have answered all the other questions for my assignment but this one has me. I know some of the differences and similarities but I can't figure out how to word them and make it make sense at the same time. If someone could help me, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you :) Compare and contrast binary fission and conjugation; list at least two ways they are alike and two ways they are different.

in similarity- both are modes of reproduction. i cannot remember another point. in differences- in binary fission only 1 organism is involved while in conjugation 2. then the 2 daughter cells formed in fission have the same genetic make-up while in conjugation they are recombinants. hope this helps.

Similar: Organism splits into smaller parts, occur in single celled organisms. Differences: Conjugation occurs between 2 separate bodies, Binary fission does not have any exchange of genetic material in the process.

Thank you so much guys! :)
