x/2-3<3x/2+3. Please show me how to solve this,.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ x }{ 2 }-3<\frac{ 3x }{ 2 }+3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bring x to one side by - x/2 from both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply both sides by 2 to get rid of the annoying fractions and start with \[x-6<3x+6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve like you would if it was an equality 1) subtract \(x\) from both sides 2) subtract \(6\) from both sides 3) divide both sides by \(2\)
