Automobile Accidents: Causes and Effects
Road accidents are a global tragedy with everyday raising problems. They are common in our daily news as we see these accidents happen almost every day throughout the year. Accidents are generally classified as when a vehicle collides with another vehicle, pedestrian, animal, road debris .Most people continue to be negligent and ignore the dangers involved in their driving and so, these accidents happen.
Causes of Automobile accidents
Carelessness is one of the causes of road accidents in the world. Sometimes car accidents happen for several reasons. When people drive, sometimes they are careless. Sometimes they text when driving and hit other cars, some people speed to get to the place they wanted quickly. Some people look other places and get busy on other thing when driving and get into a car accident. The distraction while using a cell phone does not only come from holding the phone but also from the conversation. Being tired at the wheel is stupid and dangerous. Also Just looking away for a split second can cause an accident which includes things like changing the stereo, using a cell phone, interacting with passengers and even slowing down to look at other accidents. Conditions such as fog, rain and snow increase the chances of an accident, obscuring driver's sight and making it harder to stop in time. There is an endless list of problems on the road, which include, not following the signs and regulation etc.
Effects of Automobile accidents
Traffic accidents are considered modern problems which are causing enormous human losses to many people and resulting of them many temporary and permanent injuries. Young drivers are more likely to die in car accidents and are much more prone to speed, drive recklessly, not wear seat belts, drinking and driving. If we could reduce these dangerous behaviors, we could prevent these needless deaths and injuries yearly. Even in slow-speed traffic collisions that result in minor damage to the vehicles involved, the bodies in those vehicles can still suffer from trauma etc. Some minor car accident injuries can actually result in long-lasting pain, suffering and not enjoying life the way he used to. Reckless drivers are more likely to die in car accidents and cause enormous damages to the public and private properties.
I would advise people especially teenagers not to use their cell phone while they are driving and I am not saying they shouldn't talk on the phone. I would also say if a light is red, just respect it, a red light doesn't mean stop only if you don't see anyone else. I have seen more people violate this law. I have seen major accident caused by running a red light. Just don’t rush to get somewhere. Another thing is I see people ride the wrong way on a one way street. Just because the sign says one way, it doesn't mean your way, just pay attention to what the sign say.
