I want to find out the approximate increase in pressure inside a camper trailer (with good seals so there is little air leakage) when driving at say 100 km per hr when air enters through a vertical hole on the front of the trailer of 70 mm diameter. Will the following give an approximate answer? Use the drag formula F = 1/2 x (area) x (velocity^2) x (Air density) x (Drag coefficient) For this case, take drag coefficient as 1, area as 1, v as 27.8 ms^-2 and air density as 1.225 kg/m^3. this gives pressure increase of 0.604 x27.8^2 = 470Pa. or approx. 0.5 kPa
