OpenStudy (katielong):

Converting areas and volumes: just started AS-level Physics, how do you convert units for example 1m^2 to mm^2? Thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[1mm = 10 ^{-3} m\] there fore \[1mm^2 = (10^{-3})^2m^2 = 10^{-6}m^2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

similarly \[1m = 10^{3} mm\] so can u tell how much 1m^2 would be? in mm^2 ??
