How does the mood of a setting convey theme?
Well lets say the setting is a dark rainy day or something, then it makes the theme more gloomy or dark. If it's a bright sunny day, then it may make the theme more happy or cheerful. But honestly setting doesn't have such a big impact on the theme. I mean of course it matters. "Setting provides a backdrop for the action. Think about setting not just as factual information but as an essential part of a story's mood and emotional impact. Careful portrayal of setting can convey meaning through interaction with characters and plot." Hope this helped :)
