I saw there were many technical terms which I did not know about.
Like Semiconductor band gap etc etc.

Please suggest website that explain it simply. :)

http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/tables/semgap.html u can go through this link.. this is about very basics. About bandgap, u have written semiconductor band gap, there is also a BAND GAP ckt, to generate reference potential in semiconductor IC designs, but this is just for knowledge :)
