first of all to get a % of a number u divide by 100 nd multiply by the required % ur looking for u got that much??

so if ur given a % and its value to look for the number that gave the value you simply multiply the number eg 33 by 100 and then divide by the % eg 12% which gives u the number ur looking for which is 275....hope ths helps
