Find an equation of the tangent line to the curve at the given point. y=sin(2lnx) (1,0)

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

recall that the derivative of the function will tell you the slope of the tangent line. You will need to find the derivative of the function first.

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

Do you know how to do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got sin2/x

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

I don't think that's correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait imma try again, theres a lot on my page

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, I got cos(2lnx)*2/x+lnx

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

this? http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=d%2Fdx+sin%282lnx%29

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Diz, you were close on the last try but should not have +lnx. I'm guessing you may have been thinking you had to apply the product rule but there's no product here.
