How to get limit from this? lim ( (x+h)^2 - x^2 ) / h as h->0 wolfram alpha says 2x but i get 0. = (x^2 + 0 - x^2) / 0 = 0/0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to expand (x+h)^2, then simplify the whole equation.. then substitute h=0 when you already simplified it..

ah.. simple mistake. thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did you get it?
