Solve the following system of equations graphically. Click on the graph until the correct solution of the system appears. x + y = 2 x = 1 this confuses me https://media.glynlyon.com/g_alg01_2012/5/systems3.gif https://media.glynlyon.com/g_alg01_2012/5/systems2.gif https://media.glynlyon.com/g_alg01_2012/5/systems1.gif

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

See plot the lines on a graph sheet. x + y = 2 Take a random value of x and then see how much y is then. Do it for 2 points so that it can be plotted on the graph. Points can be: (1,1) , (2,0) , (0,2) [Because then only x+y = 2] Then do it for this too x = 1 x = 0*y = 1 y can be ANYTHING x has to be 1 Points can be (1,0) , (1,2) , (1,3) Getting mt? :)

one sec im reding might take a while do understand

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

EXTRA INFO: When x = constant [Like here it is, x=1] The line formed is parallel to the y axis. Because the x value never changes then! Like in this diagram. |dw:1378668562479:dw|

you can go on to a diff quetion im still reding

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then none of them work

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

See the last one! :D
