hey my computer say that it has 4gb of graphic card but im only using 700mb how can i change that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You probably wouldn't be asking this if you had a 4GB graphics card. You probably mean you have 4GB of ram with shared graphics memory. You can't just increase that, and by the sounds of it you have a laptop so the only way to improve your graphics card is to buy a new laptop.

no men my computer say that i have 8gb of ram (desktop computer) and 700 mb og graphic card but in where it say desktop one it says 4000 mb @asdafogbucket

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The 7560D is a shared memory card, but since it isn't a laptop you might be able to change how much RAM the card gets in your BIOS settings.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7.19 GB of RAM @asdafogbucket

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and what does shared memory card means? @asdafogbucket

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It means it uses RAM to store graphics information like textures instead of having it's own dedicated memory.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oooo and what does the 4gb of memory means in the display one window? @asdafogbucket

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

^ Exactly what asda said, your computer may have 4 Gigs but your processor or graphics card may not need that much or cannot simply use that much

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

I have 8 Gigs of RAM, but my computer can only use 7.76 of it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oooo okay thank you so much ill apreciate it :D @Lukecrayonz
