What university would be better to attend?? Baylor University or Texas A&M at College Station?? I'm doing triple or Quadruple majors at whichever one I go to.
So you are basically interested in the top private or top public university in Texas. Look into who is teaching the things you will need to learn. What professors would you want to meet, argue with (in the academic sense,) and learn from? Any special services one is better at? Particular research you are more interested in? Any time you look at top shelf schools, the general things will all be solid. It is going to come down to details that are personally important to you. It will take trips, talking to people in the departments, and so on. Can't go there? Do everything else you can online to find out about people.
Yeah, I've been doing so much research now. A&M offers Aerospace which I want to do and Baylor offers Astronomy which I really like. They both have its pros and cons. Baylor is too expensive, but most of it will be paid through scholarships. A&M is not that costly and offers more degrees but its more like a party school. I've never gone to parties and I'm more like the christian type guy. So, I'm still applying to both but it'll be difficult to make a decision at the end :/
TAMU has a very strong reputation for things other than parties. Also, going to a party is optional. Not like they are graded activities and all... Also, you will probably meet a more diverse group of people at TAMU, which helps people prepare for living and working in a more global economy.
Hi @Michael2014. I considered applying to Baylor University for undergraduate studs but couldn't go there. It's an amazing school. If you're a christian, you'll love the environment and the program they are proposing. You can always get in touch with the university and clear your doubts. If you're considering Aerospace maybe you could consider Embry-Riddle University. @e.mccormick has given you some great pieces of advice which you should consider while choosing college. All the best ;)
