How do you rationalize something like 1/ (11xsqrt 5 - 4ysqrt3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First you multiply the top and bottom by the bottom equation, but change the sign to a plus (+) sign. Then the top will be \[11x \sqrt{5} + 4y \sqrt{3} \] Then the bottom will be \[605x ^{2}- 48y ^{2}\]
