Can someone explain point slop form for me? I mean like every detail: what it finds, different ways, tricks to remembering it, etc. Thanks! xx

It's very simple. It's basically this equation (I'll explain in a minute): y – y1 = m(x – x1).

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Use that formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Isn't that just slope? ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you're given a point on a line and the line's slope, this gives you the equation of the line. The point is (x1,y1) and the slope is m.

What? Can you dumb it down? I never learned this ~

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know how to find the slope give two points -_-

Thanks! @Avihirschx
