how do i solve for a 2a+3=b ??

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

You can solve it for a value of b in terms of a or a in terms of b Or you can just take a random value of b and find the corresponding value of a in that case!! :D

i still don't really understand...

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

2a + 3 = b Forms a line on the graph when plotted. You CANNOT solve for b and a b can have Infinite values so can a. All you can do is find b in terms of a => [b = 2a + 3] Or find a in terms of b => [a = (b-3)/2] Understood? :)
