A brick is dropped from a high scaffold. (a) What is its velocity after 4.0s? (b) How far does the brick fall during this time?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since its free fall means it is starting with velocity 0 velocity after time t is given by v=gt [ where g is accelration due to garvity ] and distance travelled during this time is given by s=(1/2)*g*t^2 here t=4 s and [g u may assume to be 9.8 m/s^2 or if something isassumed/given in the question]
