Implicit means that something is implied or unexpressed, where as explicit means it is stated clearly in detail leaving no room for confusion or misconception. The one that would most contain an idea what would be considered implicit would be directions to your friends house. They could say "The house on the right after the big tree" And your friend lives in a woodland area, you would be confused right? Building a model airplane & a recipe both give you step by step instructions on how to do something. The political cartoon generally states the idea being made fun of or brought to attention.
