(x1, y1) = (1,0) ,(x2, y2) = (4, -1) (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (-1-0)/(4-1)
im confused lol @rizwan_uet
in each given pair of coordinates the first number represent x-coordinate and the second number represent y-coordinate. now the difference of y- coordinates is the difference of the second number in each coordinate while the difference in x-coordinate is the difference of the first number in each coordinate
