choose the graph of the absolute-vale inequality. y<[x+2]-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, you will notice that the inequality is a less than sign. This means that the graph is NOT going to be a solid line. It will have to be a DASHED line. then you will need to do a table |dw:1378763156449:dw|

complete additional points using x = 0, 1, and 2. Then plot the ordered pairs (-2,-2), (-1,-1), etc. Remember, DASHED lines. The last step is where to shade the region. All you have do is to pick points to the left and right of the line and ask yourself if it is true. If the answer is true, that is the region that you will shade.
