How many ways can you stack 77 books into equal piles? Show me how you get the answer!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You basically just try to think of the factors. What numbers evenly go into 77? The only ones I can think of at the moment are 7 and 11 so we'll work with those and if there are any more someone might correct later. But, with 7 and 11 there are 2 ways, you could put the books into 7 piles with 11 each or 11 piles with 7 each.

you also have 1 and 77 as factors: 1 pile of 77 or 77 piles , 1 book high. There here are 4 ways to stack total

Thx everyone for your feedback and I already for the answer it is 4 ways hint: use a factor rainbow!
