question ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the slope of the line 2x + 5y = -10?

OpenStudy (raden):

the slope of a line ax + by = c is m = -a/b with m = slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im really confused help plzzz

OpenStudy (raden):

like i said above, u can use the formula m = -a/b known a line 2x + 5y = -10 it means, you have a = 2 and b = 5. so, the slope (m) = -a/b = -2/5 easy right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so awnsers - 2/5

OpenStudy (raden):

yup
