How do I figure out how long a column of 6k people would be in a column of 4?

we're supposed to find how long a column of 6000 people in column of 4 wud be

simply setup a proportion

So 60000/4 = 6000/x ?

Ohh okay so 60000/400 = 6000/x 60000x = 2400000 x = 40 Is that correct?
