OpenStudy (austinl):

Whole note: Two Half Notes (whole note 4 beats, half note 2 beats) Tempo: Speed of Beat Andante: Walking speed? Measure of Bar: Identifies a consistent...) Syncopation: Accent that conflicts (it is a note or accent that sticks out blatantly) Duple Meter: grouped by twos (duple=two) Half Note: 4 eighth notes (2 eighth notes 1 beat, 4 two beats) Vivace: Lively and fast? Rest: Duration of Silence (you are at "rest", not playing) Time Signature: Identifies the meter (kinda like \(\frac{4}{4}\)) It has been a while since I have read sheet music, but I think this is correct.

OpenStudy (austinl):

There is quite a lot of math in music, so if you know the measure of a beat then you can calculate what they are in comparison to others.

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

thank you so much if i need more help i @ u
