What is the period of a sound wave whose wavelength is 20.0 m? Show your work.

OpenStudy (shane_b):

Use the basic wave equation....knowing that the speed of sound in air is about ~343m/s: \[speed= \frac{wavelength}{period} \]

Thank you.

OpenStudy (shane_b):

np :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

speed = wavelength/period 343 m/s = 20.0m/period 20/343 = .058 @shane_b is this correct?

OpenStudy (shane_b):

Yes
